This segmented hot air balloon sculpture is a true showcase of woodworking artistry. Created from over 160 individually cut pieces of walnut, oak, padauk, and ash, it captures the magic of flight in a form that’s grounded in craftsmanship.
Each balloon is hand-turned on a lathe, shaped ring by ring, and polished smooth with layered sanding. Finished with a food-safe Shellawax, it shines with warmth and detail — perfect as a statement piece or conversation starter.
