Material: 1/2” plywood and 1/4” baltic birch for the backing board
Technique: Cut on a scroll saw
Finish: The base and backing boards are painted with white paint and the main piece was burnt with a torch. This burning accents the fibers of the plywood. The entire piece was finished with four-coats of clear Shellac
Story: This was made for a customers 15th wedding anniversary. It can be made for all anniversaries, but all future projects will include the proper “oridinals following the number, ie st for 1st, nd for 2nd, rd for 3rd, th for 4th, etc)

Finish: Pained with acrylic paints and finished with six-coats of ZAR, Exterior Polyurethane
Story: This is hung beneath the mailbox for a customer. It is engraved on both sides, so it can be seen from either direction of their street

Finish: The piece was burnt with a torch to accent the grain of the wood. It was finished with four-coats of clear Shellac
Story: The center piece is suspended from the top cross member with earth magnets. Fishing line is used to attach the bottom of the center piece and the base of the unit. This allows the center piece to appear suspended in midair.

Technique: Mostly completed on a table saw
Finish: Sanded with 220 grit sandpaper and the inside of the drawer was finished with black Flock It, which gives it a Suede look.

Finish: Wood was burnt with a torch to accent the wood grain and finished with four-coats of clear Shellacr

Material: 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood
Technique: Hand-cut on a scroll saw and sanded with 180 and 220 grit sandpaper (approximately 200 hours of work)
Finish: Unfinished at the request of Children’s Hospital staff so each child can decorate their own ornament
